Originally from the 19th century, 100% organic and with all the Mediterranean character

It doesn’t matter how you call it: vermut, vermú or vermouth. This is the original recipe of the first vermouth in Barcelona.

Main ingredients

Wormwood

It’s German name Wermutkraut, baptized the vermouth. It is known as the mother of all herbs and its bitter taste was essential to achieve that authentic touch of our vermouth.

Thyme

The Mediterranean pre-coastal aroma was a must, so the intense flavour and spice nuances could not be left out. Only this aromatic plant could symbolize our landscape so well.

Cinnamon

Persistent, warm, smooth and sweetish. The aroma of cinnamon gives vermouth a pleasant flavour that makes it as recognizable as it is familiar.

Gentian

Its smell and bitter taste is responsible for the perfect balance between acidity, bitterness and sweetness of our vermouth.

Vanilla

There is no place in the world where the sweetness of vanilla is not admired, and Barcelona is no exception. Together with nutmeg, it brings the spicy touches so characteristic of our vermouth.

Bitter orange

Its name speaks for itself. This bitter flavour similar to that of liquorice not only gives us Mediterranean character, it also helps us to achieve the desired aromatic intensity.
